The green leaves of this Yucca plant seem to mimic a peacock's tail feathers. The blue sky and brown desert behind make an intersting background for this desert photo. This was taken in the Rio Verde Foothills, outside Scottsdale Arizona.

I currently live in Surprise, Arizona, a suburb of Phoenix. I was born and raised in the beautiful state of Maine, where my interest in photograhy was discovered. I got my first camera, a Kodak Brownie, when I was six or seven years old, and I've been hooked on the art of photography ever since. A year or so later, I got my first processing and print making kit and I began to realize that I could be as creative, if not more so, in the darkroom than in the field. Over the years, my cameras and darkroom got more complex, giving me more creative tools to work with.
