Artist's Description

This barbed wire fence lines part of the route south of San Felipe. It is difficult to say what the reason is (no the grass is NOT greener on the other side.), but I liked the posts made from Occotillos.

I got my first camera, a Kodak Brownie, when I was six or seven years old, and I've been hooked on the art of photography ever since. A year or so later, I got my first processing and print making kit and I began to realize that I could be as creative, if not more so, in the darkroom than in the field. Over the years, my cameras and darkroom got more complex, giving me more creative tools to work with. About 10 years ago, I traded film, chemicals, tanks, trays, and the smell, for a digital camera and a copy of Photoshop. I never looked back.

I currently live in Surprise, Arizona, a suburb of Phoenix. I was born and raised in the beautiful state of Maine, where my interest in photograhy was discovered.
