The Shrimp Festival in San Felipe, Baja California focuses on the culinary aspects of the shrimp season combined with local culture events, wine tastings, Tequila samplings and local and regional folk artists.
The festival also offers family entertainment for all ages, with children's rides and tequila and wine tasting for adults. Visitors can enjoy the Mexican culture in a Mexican-style rodeo, while local artists and artisans exhibit their best exhibitions of art, all handmade in Baja California. In addition, Baja California bands, such as the U.S., touching music, offering a variety of musical genres through the festival.
About Dick Botkin
I currently live in Surprise, Arizona, a suburb of Phoenix. I was born and raised in the beautiful state of Maine, where my interest in photograhy was discovered. I got my first camera, a Kodak Brownie, when I was six or seven years old, and I've been hooked on the art of photography ever since. A year or so later, I got my first processing and print making kit and I began to realize that I could be as creative, if not more so, in the darkroom than in the field. Over the years, my cameras and darkroom got more complex, giving me more creative tools to work with.
